WWP is a national, nonpartisan organization headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. The men and women of the United States Armed Forces have made a choice to serve and protect our country and the American way of life. For some of those brave soldiers, sacrificing their way of life was a result of their commitment.

Wounded Warrior Project's mandate is to provide tangible support for the severely wounded and help them on the road to healing, both physically and mentally.

The Mission

As their mission states, the purpose of Wounded Warrior Project is:

• To honor and empower wounded warriors
• To raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women.
• To help severely injured service members aid and assist each other.
• To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members.
